Code of Ethics and Conduct
FORFIRM promotes Integrity, Accountability and Transparency as core principles of Professional Conduct. Our Code of Ethics and Conduct defines expectations around competence, responsibility, confidentiality, accuracy and compliance.
Purpose
FORFIRM Consulting SA has established this Code of Ethics and Conduct (the “Code”) to define the ethical principles, behavioral standards, and professional expectations applicable to all employees, consultants, and collaborators. This Code aims to: • Promote integrity, accountability, and transparency • Protect the firm’s reputation and stakeholders • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and corporate standards
Applicability
This policy applies to: • All FORFIRM Consulting SA employees (permanent and temporary) • Consultants, contractors, and external collaborators acting on behalf of FORFIRM Consulting SA • Any individual representing FORFIRM Consulting SA in professional activities
Principles of Professional Conduct
All employees are required to actively promote, comply with, and support the following principles in the performance of their duties.
Professional Competence and Responsability
Employees shall ensure that all actions undertaken in a professional context are carried out with appropriate competence, diligence, and due care. This includes performing all assigned responsibilities in a manner that is: • honorable, demonstrating integrity and ethical judgment at all times; • responsible, with full ownership of decisions and outcomes; • diligent, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and attention to detail; • objective, avoiding bias and maintaining professional independence. Employees are expected to operate in full alignment with FORFIRM Consulting SA standards, internal guidelines, and best practices, ensuring that the quality of work consistently meets corporate expectations. Furthermore, employees shall: accept and perform only those tasks and services for which they possess the necessary qualifications, expertise, and experience; continuously ensure that their knowledge and skills remain adequate for the services provided; act at all times in the best interest of clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and keeping them appropriately informed of any relevant updates, including changes to FORFIRM Consulting SA standards or methodologies.
Information security and Confidentiality
Employees must conduct all activities in a manner that upholds the highest standards of data security, confidentiality, and integrity. In particular, employees shall: • actively promote and comply with current information security standards, policies, and industry best practices; • protect all confidential, proprietary, and sensitive information obtained in the course of their professional activities, preventing unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or loss; • exercise due care when handling data, ensuring that information is only accessed and shared on a strictly need-to-know basis; In the event of a suspected or actual security incident, employees are required to: • promptly report any suspected or confirmed data breach, compromise, or security vulnerability; • notify the appropriate internal functions and, where applicable, external authorities or stakeholders, in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.
Integrity, Transparency and Compliance
Employees are required to act with the highest level of integrity and to uphold the reputation and credibility of FORFIRM Consulting SA at all times. Accordingly, employees shall: • refrain from any conduct, activity, or behavior that could harm or negatively impact the reputation of FORFIRM Consulting SA, its clients, its partners, or the professional community; • avoid any situation that may give rise to an actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest, and promptly disclose such situations where they arise; • ensure that all communications, documentation, and information provided in the context of firm’s services are accurate, truthful, complete, and not misleading; • comply with all applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and relevant industry standards; • promptly report any violations of this Code, unethical conduct, or non-compliance through the appropriate internal channels (Line manager or Corporate Governace Dep.)
Disciplinary Measures
Failure to comply with the principles and obligations set out in this Code may result in disciplinary action, proportionate to the severity of the violation, up to and including termination of the employment or contractual relationship, as well as any further legal consequences where applicable.
