ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and driven Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join our lively international team and work on projects for Swiss banking clients, taking ownership of the end-to-end operational coverage of regulatory reporting obligations (e.g. FINFRAG/EMIR) across the full reporting lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead data collection, validation, and quality checks on regulatory reports (XML format), including gap resolution (LEI, buyer/seller, decision maker fields)
- Own reconciliation activities to prevent under and over reporting, in line with defined KPIs
- Monitor automated batch processes and supervise report submission on regulator portals
- Drive error handling activities: root-cause analysis of portal feedback and incremental corrections across multi-round error cycles
- Oversee compliance monitoring activities (daily/periodic controls) for Swiss Regulations
- Lead UAT and non-regression testing for new regulations and bank releases
- Drive knowledge transfer activities, onboarding documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as key point of contact with internal teams and bank counterparts
TECHNICAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services industry
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Swiss reporting frameworks
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and spoken Italian, German and English (mandatory); knowledge of French is a plus.
- Proven ability to work with structured data and perform quality checks with high attention to detail
