ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Corporate Actions Analyst to join our international team and contribute to operational projects for Swiss and European banking clients. The ideal candidate brings solid knowledge of corporate actions processing across both mandatory and voluntary events, with a strong risk awareness mindset and the ability to operate accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Risk Management & Controls
- Identify potential risk scenarios inherent in corporate actions processing and implement appropriate controls to minimise operational exposure
- Ensure that financial losses stemming from misinterpretation of information or processing errors are actively prevented through structured oversight
- Manage escalations related to corporate actions, coordinating effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Processing & Operations
- Process client elections and instructions on voluntary corporate actions accurately and within required timeframes
- Accurately interpret and record corporate action information received from vendors and other data sources into the Corporate Actions system
- Execute processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate actions across a global custody accounting system, covering events such as stock splits, stock dividends, spin-offs, exchanges, mergers, tenders, and consents
Governance & Master Data
- Oversee shareholders meetings and disclosure management activities in line with internal procedures and market requirements
- Maintain accurate securities master data, with familiarity with Bloomberg and Telekurs considered a plus
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously while supporting team objectives and balancing competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to identify risk and pursue mitigation opportunities
- Solid working knowledge of corporate actions processing across mandatory and voluntary event types
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting daily deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Area Finanza CAD considered a preferential criterion
- Familiarity with securities master data and reference data management
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Italian bilingual or native level, English minimum B1, both mandatory
