ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Functional Analyst Capital Markets to join our international team and support ongoing projects within the Swiss financial services sector. The selected candidate will serve as a point of connection between operational stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, structured, and translated into system-level solutions. The role covers the full transaction lifecycle and requires solid domain knowledge in capital markets combined with practical experience in financial platform implementation and support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Systems Configuration

  • Ensure proper alignment of system configurations with regulatory standards and internal control frameworks
  • Configure and adapt financial platform components in line with defined project scope
  • Support integration activities between financial modules and ERP environments across functions
  • Business & Functional Analysis
  • Evaluate existing workflows and identify concrete opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Collect and interpret functional requirements from finance and operations stakeholders
  • Convert business processes into well-structured and actionable system specifications
  • Operational Support & Quality Assurance
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of financial and operational reporting tools
  • Contribute to functional testing activities, including UAT coordination and execution
  • Support issue identification, root cause analysis, and end-to-end resolution tracking
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Strong analytical capability in modelling business processes and translating them into system requirements
  • Solid understanding of Middle Office and Back Office operational processes
  • Proven background in functional analysis roles within banking or financial institutions
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Hands-on experience with CADIT AREA FINANZA platform
  • Familiarity with Caronte Trading System (Elidata)
  • Familiarity with Capital Markets instruments including Bonds, Equities, Derivatives, and OTC products
  • Experience working with ERP financial modules
  • Structured and methodical approach to problem-solving
  • English language proficiency, minimum B1, mandatory
